Demelza Fox - the Mermaid

In my life beyond bellydance, I also work as a Professional Mermaid. 

Yup.

That's me there, being all swoony. And there I am messing about underwater blowing people kisses. 

With two other lovely local mermaids, we run Merlesque!, a mermaid entertainment team providing mermaid fun and wonder to all and sundry, from private parties to kiddy events to corporate shindigs to posh dinners. We work both as land mermaids AND underwater mermaids ("Do you swim?" being our most frequently asked question), and of course, I am a pink mermaid. No surprises there.

I am always amazed by how excited everyone is when they see mermaids. I mean it. EVERYONE loves it, from tiny shy little kiddies to grown up gents and ladies.  

And I am very excited today as tomorrow we will be going off to do our first proper underwater photoshoot! Woohoo!
